This project has helped me learn how to create a simple Media Kit with a creative approach, using all the skills learned in the Media Communications Program. The goal was to advertise the Toronto Maple Leafs’ new home and provide information about it. I created a Media Kit for the Toronto Maple Leafs’ press conference announcing their new home in Burlington, Ontario. Using InDesign software program, The Media Kit was created by using various layers to categorize the text, photos, headers, paragraph styles, and typography.

Ad Copy
This project helped me learn how to analyze an ad from a social media post to see if it persuaded the audience, and if the message was clear. The goal for this project was to analyze an ad and write a mini description on what improvements I would change to make it visual appealing, messaging of the ad to target its audience. This was an Ad Copy aimed at making the advertisement more appealing for Young Drivers of Canada. I brainstormed ideas to recreate this ad or possibly provide suggestions on what I think would best engage the audience to encourage them to pursue their driving education and training at Young Drivers of Canada. Additionally, I described the use of photos and colours and suggested improvements for this type of ad. This advertisement aims to invoke positive feelings, confidence and trust in the audience. Young Driver’s Of Canada wants to reach their milestone for driver training and attract new drivers to their centre.
